No heat from CC unit

I just bought a '98 2.3 Ultima and despite a few little niggles it's an absolute beauty.. However, I'm not getting any warm/hot air through the CC system. I've played with all of the controls, CC on / off, recirculation on/off but to no avail. Could it be that the heat exchanger is blocked or that somewhere behind the dash a cable/rod has come loose? The fan works perfectly, I get air through all of the vents be just no warm/hot air. Please help as it's geting colder out there.

Hi Snoopy, I've gone through the reset and I can hear lots of whirring from behind the dash (flaps opening and closing I presume). At one point the whirring is so regular it almost sounds like someone breathing. But unfortunately, still no warm air. I was not gettng an error code just the '00'. I've got to replace some dashboard bulbs so I might just remove the whole dash an see if anything obvious is wrong. Thanks for your help Chris
