Alloy Wheel Repair

I have an alloy wheel which has been kerbed and slightly bent (not by me!).  I seem to recall someone on the list getting wheels refurbished but I'm not sure if they had them straightened too.  Any recommendations please.  Smiley

It would probably be cheaper to buy one off Ebay or a breakers....if you can find one.

Probably true although I was considering getting another wheel that's a bit scuffed resprayed at the same time.  It would be interesting to find out what it would cost though.

I once bought a set four, 12 spoke chrome alloys (no 225 tyres) off of ebay for £90 about 3 years ago. So a single wheel shouldn't be anymore than £30 in good nick, £50 max for a real good one.

D'oh! I knew I read about it somewhere.  I forgot it was here on the forum.

If I can't find anyone local I'll give the guys in Glasgow a call.

The trouble with buying more off ebay is that you don't know if they are straight until you get them on the car or to the tyre fitter.
