Hi all ,1996 24v problem is ,between 30ish and 50ish when holding a steady speed eg 40 mph with or without cruise on,the engine surges almost like a chugging up and down .i have tested this at 30mph and it seems OK then as you try 35 plus off it starts until you get to about 50 ish and then it stops. Have changed the leads and new plat plugs ,made no difference, any ideas out there ,cheers Kim

Hi simmo, When I first got it home ,changed the air filter which was bad and there was a small amount of oil in the bottom of the air box also the small foam filter was oil blocked and it disintigrated when I touched it. Cleaned it away ( did not replace) made sure the pipe attached was not blocked, and then cleaned the MAF as described in the forum tech section . Cheers Kim
