I have recently picked up a Scorpio, and I can't seem to get hot air to blow through the vents. It blows warm, but not hot like my old 12v. Any suggestions?

Go to this page and check 'fault finder' and 'Air conditioning'. The pollen filter can be a significant factor if it is 'gunged'up.

Have you checked to see if the outlet pipe from the heater matrix is hot or cold. If it is cold then it is blocked or has an airlock. If the outlet pipe is luke warm then the matrix probably has a restricted flow.

That sounds feasible. Not being too familiar with my car yet, where should I be looking on the vehicle? It's d**n cold this morning.

Go to this page and check out the photos. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/matrix.htm. The pipes come through the bulkhead on the left hand side as you look into the engine bay from the front.
