I want to put a piccie of my Scorpio underneath my name, but can't work out how to do it. The site seems to want online pics but mine are in 'My Pictures'
How's it done?

You should have been given xxMB of web space by your service provider.  You'll need to upload your photo to it using an FTP program (they will usually recommend a suitable one) and then put the web address in your profile.

TBH it's a lot of hassle just to get a picture up for your profile, but it can be useful if you want to share photos for diagnostic purposes, etc.

upload the picture to an online host such as www.photobucket.com or www.tinypic.com and you can link the picture to your avater picture. If you right click on my pictures, you will see properties at the bottom of the list. if you click that, it will tell you where the picture is actually hosted. Takes 5 minutes to sort it out

Its always handy to have a play with the size of the pic as well with photoshop or any picture editing program that you may have. I think a signature is about 300 pixels wide or something like that (have a play). If its to big it will push your posts off the side.

Yeh, thats because you are adding a rectagular image and the system is just squeezing it into a square box. Try dropping the size down by about 15-20 pixels and it should straighten out.
