electric passenger seat

hi i have just bought a cosworth for spares. i noticed the passenger seat is electric. is it possible to take the electrics ie motors etc from this beige cloth seat and fit them to my black leather none electric seat

Should be easy enough. It has been done a few times where the full electric seat has been transfered (wiring and all) into a car without it. Locky did it for one. Recently, music Master changed a seat base from his car which had faulty motors and swapped it for a working one and he had to re-trim the seat base with the leather off his old seat. I believe the hardest bits to do were the "Hog" rings which hold the material to the metal bits of the seat. No doubt someone will tell you more in a while Baz

It is quite straight forward as Baz has said - the seat comes off the base so you just swop over the base - the cable connector should be under the carpet near the centre console. You should also be able to swop the switches from the donor seat as well! HTH Dave
