Just a little precautionary advice needed.

I have read the instructions on replacing the SATC Module and I am a little weary on removing Airbag and steering wheel assembly my question is to those who have carried out this task is, is it as straight forward as it appears to be or are there any problems that can unexpectantly raise there heads I am probably looking for a confidence booster so please bear with me your advice would be greatly appreciated, "OH" and how long should it take.

I replaced my SATC module and did not have to remove the stearing wheel. I had to relace the heater matrix last year and followed the relevant section of that again to gain access.

Sorry, time was quite quick, less than three hours, but had done many of the operations last year.

Shouldn't have to remove the steering wheel to replace it.
You can remove the dashboard facia without having to remove the steering wheel, just use the reach/rake to move it as far out of the way as possible. You do have to remove the radio though so will need the code when you put it back.

When I removed the dash fascia I used these instructions.

Many thanks Mummra for that information, as within 30 minutes of reading I  managed to remove facia and replace the SATC Module unfortunately it would appear not to be a module fault as I still have the problem but at least it is something else that has been illiminated I will now try and source the HBC I have irons in the fire for this, once again many thanks , (WHAT A SUBERB SITE THIS IS).

Smiley No worries, happy to help. Glad you managed to do it OK. If you don't manage to source the HBC let me know.
