I was wondering, has any of you painted the front grille(the crome mouth) on your car?

I have a Scorpio in dark blue, and I am considering painting the grille dark blue.. to tone down the crome finish..

If any of you have painted the front grill, please post some pictures..Also if you have done other cool things.. Tongue

Nice link.. some good exampels.. On one of the cars you could also see a white flashing light (normally the colour of the plastic is orange).. that looks cool. I wonder where you can buy these white covers?

You mean on the Blue 24v Ultima parked next to the 24v Granada?   Thats my one.

There are various colours of these lenses available and can often be found on e-bay for about £5.
There are clear ones, but mine are the Crystal ones which are a bit more expensive (about £15 I think)
I prefer these though because they really match the lower front indicators better.

Sorry, I don't have a closer photo....

That had just been cleaned and leathered off. I think the last  lot of polish it had before that was Mer.

Yes. They're the ones I have.
I'm not one for silly mods but these look right on the car. And they still light up properly with the orange bulbs too.
