Fitting mud flaps

I am thinking about getting some new mud flaps for my Scorpio saloon 2.3 Ultima. Phoned around the FMD's and got prices of around £48 for front and rear, ok fine. The next question is how easy or difficult are these to fit? Do you have to remove the wheel arch liner to do so? Becasue there isn't much margin between the wheel arch return and where the liner abuts. Anyone any expereince of this please let me know. No one at FOrds seems to know!

But as I found out the other day, they are not the moulded fancy ones for the Scorpio 95, they are the flat crap ones off the Granada!! There are none on ebay at the moment for our scorpios as far as I can see Baz

Have you tried Ford Parts UK - only £15 for rear Scorpio flaps. Not sure cost of front flaps but must be cheaper than FMD Paul
