is it legal to put seatbelts in the back of a scorpio estate and has any one done this i would hate to have to use a volvo or a peoplr carrier for my holiday

id say no it wouldn’t be possible, for a start you would have to securely fix the 2 seats into the boot area,which isnt strenghtened for the purpose then you would have to find suitable areas to mount the seatbelts, which would have to pass an mot, the only possible place maybe would be to some how bolt the seatbels to the rear pillars and fabricate a sturdy frame for the seats to sit on

There is a conversion which was done for the granada estate which I believe fits the scorpio. Someone on here was selling one a while ago or fitting one!!
 
I think Andrew came up with a link to a company which manufactures them

Seen the conversion pop up on ebay now and again. two rear facing seats back to back with the rear seat.
