Hello ! I have a problem with a Scorpio -95 Automatic 2.0. and I hope somebody can help me ! When I start the car and put in the drive mode the warning signal beeps. Its the same signal you hear when you turn ignition off and not have put the gear selector in neutral or park mode. You just push the button on the gear selector and it will start beeping.. What unit does the sound come from, and how is it manouvered in the wiring diagram.Ive read the diagrams but cannot find the circuit...

Hi Albert, Don't know about the problem wiring but I am fixing my scorpio at the moment and have discovered that when I depress the button on the auto gear selector it will beep if the either of the doors are open (safety feature I guess). Check the interior / courtesy lights as you may simply have a failed door switch. SteveS.

I believe the module is behind the glovebox, under the engine management module.

Hello ! Thank you for the advise about the interior lights. The lights did not work, and i suppose there is a power supply problem to the lights, and that is why the signal beeps. Just gotta find the exact location of the problem.
