Differential pressure sensor is associated with EGR valve on newer petrol engines - it detects if gas is flowing through the valve or not by comparing the pressure either side of a venturi - if they're different then gas is flowing. You can find the sensor by locating the EGR valve - there should be two small pipes connecting the EGR pipe itself to the sensor. Darren
