On my weekly engine inspection of my 2.3 . I have noticed that the egr bottom pipe doesn't seem to be attached securely into the egr (it moves). I haven't had the time to have a proper look but I am assuming that this isn't right Any advice would be greatly appreciated

hi there no part of the egr should move at all. are you talking about the pipe to the exhaust mainfold? the manifold has a habit of cracking big style in that area. hth

Yes...The pipe from the exhaust manifold that goes into the the bottom of the egr. The pipe is solid & doesn't move, so the manifold is okay. But the egr moves when clasped by hand, so it doesn't seem securely fixed to the pipe. I hope this makes sense
