hi all and thanks for all your replies regarding my prop shaft/diff problem. been under the car today and think ive found the problem, (but it seems to simple to be true), the driveshaft on the drivers side is totally off the diff.... all 8 bolts that should hold it in place are all sheered off. Is it just a matter of getting the old bolts out and replacing them with new ones??? The clunking sound was made when it was just held in place with one bolt, as soon as i touched it , the driveshaft just fell off the diff. The driveshaft seems in good condition and now its not connected to the diff there is no sound (clunking) at all. is it going to be as easy as i hope??? the only problem i can see is using a stud extractor to get the 8 broken bolts out any comments??? many thanks kev

Start with a small 2mm drill then work yu way up to about a 5mm hole size. Then use GOOD QUALITY bash in type screw extractors as these are much better than those awful taper reverse thread things. Then fit new bolts and hopefully peace and harmony will be restored to your Scorp! Good Luck, Dave

hi dont forget to thread lock the new bolts. the new bolts are still available from fmd but you may have to order them.
