electrical mystery

Hi guys, having a knightmare with my 95 2.5 td.
The instruments and some electrics die when i set off, i checked aux fuse box and it was wet through! so i replaced this but it hasn't cured the problem.
Funny thing is when i press the brake pedal and operate a switch they jump back to life ?
could it be a ground/earth problem
please help as its doing my nut in ,
