I have a slight problem with my 97 scorp 8v A puff of smoke appeared through dash and now dash intruments do not work along with the electric windows. Any idea's where to start. Looked at a few fuses and they seem ok..

Sounds like a wire loom shorting and burning off. I think I would check where the wires are going through the bulk head as that is the only place I can imagine insulation being damaged easily.
