Hi All, The rear brake lights of my 95 2.0Lt 16v estate are staying on after the the brake pedal is released. I guess this may be a fault in the switch. Does anyone know where it is located or any other reason for this problem. Thanks , Chris.

Meg. Thanks for the advice. Once I had taken out the lower console access to the switches was tight but possible. Took out the lower, brake light , switch and it checked out o.k. On refitting I noticed that the bracket which holds these and the footwell light was slightly loose. This was just enough to stop the switch plunger from making contact with the brake pedal ! All now corrected and working properly. Thanks again, Chris. p.s. Baz , we had rain , thunder and lightning in Essex at various times over the past 2 days.
