Drinks holder

I was saddened that my Scorpio didn't have a drinks holder. It has almost everything and Ford forgot to put the most elementary of luxury items in it . Has anyone put in their own drinks holders or drinks holders from other makes models of vehicle that fit? I do alot of motorway miles and a drinks holder would be a god send. Any recommendations? Thanks

Fitted this from a BMW 7 series. This fixes to the metal base of the seat and with a bit of foam and leather cutting, two screws and a bit of super glue......the finished result. It is in the back, but unfortunately there is nowhere I can see as yet to fit some in the front. I was thinking of where the ashtray is, but not found anything yet Baz

| LMAO However Baz I wish you would stop showing us bits and bobs of your handy work (exelent as it is might I add) because I keep on getting tempted by the various mods. I know baz just name your price mate and I will come round with the cash and buy your motor sounds like a done deal to me, when can I collect it?

That is the control panel for the DVD system. It came out of a Ford Galaxy and it is where the rear headphones are plugged in (Although I use wireless ones now) and it also allows the rear passengers to select which input is showing on which screen. One side can watch the DVD and the other side can plug in my Video Ipod to the three phono inputs and watch a different film!!
