sudden loss of power

At about 1900 revs, my cossy suddenly loses power completely for a split second, than it comes back. This may happen several times causing major shocks to the drive train. By adjusting the throttle carefully it may be prevented. At higher speeds, it is not so abrupt but still the engine runs not smooth. Just mounted new sparks but this did not help. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks from Belgium.

Could be your Fuel Injector Relay starting to play up. They stick and can cause sudden and immediate loss of power, and the engine can stop altogether. Can be VERY dangerous if you have heavy traffic behind you when it cuts out. They can be very intermittant, and a real pain to diagnose, but the safest bet is to try another one.
