Leaking inlet maifold

Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise me.
I have a 2.3 16V Ultima Engine on a 97 Car
My Inlet Manifold has a Part No 95XF_AR and is cracked
I have found a seconhand one with a P/N 96XF-DA but have been told this might not fit.
Fords say the part I need is P/T 96XF-AC but it's £252.00 plus VAT.
Has anyone had this problem before or does anyone know if they all will fit as long as they are from a 2.3 16v.

comon problem with the 2.3, don't think there are any differences, but I'm sure somebody more knowledgable will be along soon, to confirm this

hi,just had a look at the old manifold in the garage it is a 96xf----ac part number,now this was a new one fitted to my car before i bought it that cost the owner £200 plus so the price is about right, the replacement manifold has the part number the same so i think the 95 maybe the year its made. hth

Interesting Guys
Secondhand one is about £35-45 plus postage, trouble is it also could have a crack.
Why O why did they make them in plastic.
