No front main lights.

Hello, I looked at a link which was posted on here just reciently. About servicing ect. It had a few pics on the water holes (drane holes) for the main fusebox in engine bay. It is said that these clog up. Which traps water and causes problems. Now I thought id have a look. There was some dirt build up. So I tried to get rid of it. The link sergests "Just peel back the carpet" to get to the hole. Year right I couldnt get anywhere near the d**n hole. My hands are far to big to even get the dirt out. I struggled for half an hour with tea spoons ect. The link also said to carefully flush the holes with clean water. I did that keeping off the fusebox. In order to get the little bits out I took off the giant black plug. Which was in the way. I broke my fusebox cover trying to put it back on after fitting the Giant plug. The clip wouldnt go over the fusebox. So the fusebox top is now broke. So now I need a new lid. Anyways turned the key to start engine. Then relised no indicators. Pulled fuse number 15 (Tail lights, directional indicators, brake lights fuse) Fuse was fine. Put the fuse back on and all was ok. Drove 1 mile and again no indicators. Pulled fuse out put it back in and it was ok. Now I tried to flash someone through. No lights. No main beam and no main lights not even side lights. The dash lights up even the main purple beam light on dash but nothing outside. Even the chime comes on when it should. To say door is open with lights on. So I pulled all the fuses and relays to do with lights. All seem ok. The green relay is tapping every 20 sec or so. This I belive is the wipers relay. Any surgestions please. ![Embarassed](https://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/YaBBImages/embarassed.gif)

Just after sending that message thought about that wiper clicking. I ran to the car and my wipers dont work. Either does my wiper washer pump.

Sounds a lot like you either haven't correctly fitted the large black multiplug (try and fit it again, I hear it can be quite difficult to get right sometimes), OR you have been unlucky and got water in the fusebox.

Definitely the multiplug Dave One end locks into place, two tabs need to lock underneath the holder (cable end) then you push the other end down

| Done with only 5 mins of light left thank you very much lads you have all done it again. As above I hadnt put the rear bottom black ears in properly. What a sodding jerk I am today. I had taken the plug off and on and off and on 5 times after reading these posts. Every now and then I came in to see if there was anything different in the posts. Mind 2 naughbors tried putting it off and on also with the same responce. No lights ect. I have had relays out and bloody meters out aww what a day. Thank you very much what a website this is.
