Hi everybody. Got a problem with cc won't turn off. I can't reset when i put switch to off position as it is still in auto, i have tried disconecting battery to no avail. Even with panel disconected heater fans are still running. The switch seems to work ok but will not switch off.

Try pulling fuse29 in the drivers side fusebox(Heater blower motor). In the aux fusebox, nearside, fuse 33 controls power steering, self leveling suspension, heating ventilation and air con. Fuses 39 and 44 control the cooling fans. If the 'direction' control is set to 'Screen' the blower will run anyway as I believe it is a 'default' setting.

Are you sure you can't do a reset? I had the same when I changed mine, but could still do a reset which sorted it. Dave

If you disconnect the C/C panel from the multiplug then the fans will run on full blast anyway (well, mine do). It could be the switch itself at fault. I had a faulty blower switch. I sprayed it with switch cleaner which worked for a while. In the end I replaced the whole panel, but it may be possible to replace just the switch if you're good at soldering.
