32mm is correct BUT.... some of the new bearings come with a 41mm nut.

Yip, 32mm for factory fitted ones and 41mm for replacements. A bit of disagreement on these boards about clockwise or anti - clockwise unscrewing ( or maybe different factory fitments ) but my N/S rear bearing nut was to unscrewed in the normal manner i.e. anti-clockwise.

The rear Hub Bearing NUTS ARE 32 mm and and NOT left and right handed... NEW wafer nuts can be obtained from FMD at small cost part number 93BB F 10008849. USE Strong threadlock on them BOTH

| It took every bit of my 15 stone jumping on a three foot bar to loosen mine. When they did loosen there was such a crack I thought I had snapped the bar.

Thats because they should be tightened to 200ft/lbs which is way beyond the 'normal' DIY 1/2" torque wrench. .
