Nasty noise from front left of engine

It sounds like a bearing going. Good charge from the alternator, power steering operating as normal. If it was on the other side I would suspect either the water pump or a/c clutch, its that kind of noise. Has anyone experienced the belt tensioner pulley failing? Is it replaceable or is it part of the tensioner assembly?

I had something similar a while ago on my previous car and it turned out to be the bearing in the alternator. took it off and slapped a load of grease and oil into it and it was fine after that. Baz

Fault identified itself today. Pulley on tensioner arm seized. Anyone got a spare pulley? Fords only do the complete assembly.
