hi it never seems to go the way you want they failed the car on the indicator bulb being the wrong colour probably fell off due to the fact there is a mini swimming pool in the lense. they put a new bulb in and charged me £1 then they wrote a pass ticket. unlike an mot station to be helpfull, I collected the car from were I get the car serviced and drove it home and noticed that when you turn left that there is a bad vibration coming through the steering wheel which you can feel through the steering wheel and seat, took the car back to the garage today and the mechanic said that it should not have passed the mot like that, I said that it was not like that before going for the mot, going back tomorrow to the garage to see what they find. it seemed to good to be true David

As has been said, this is a known issue if the wheels have been suspended. Read the section on steering judder Here Try just taking the weight off the wheels and turning the steering wheel from lock to lock...DO NOT HOLD IT IN THAT POSITION....this should remove any air and return the system to normal. If you can't lift the front put it on some wet grass or a couple of old magazines so that you are letting the wheels turn without straining the power steering rack.
