Need help again. Timed functions don`t work.

I have read about similar problems on the forum but it have not solved my problems. One day out driving the interior lights suddenly came on, and after a while was off again. At the same time the intermittent wipers and heated screens stopped working. My interior lights works now and the 20 sek timing is ok. But it will always take 20 sek. It should switch off when I start the car.The switch for open door was bad but is ok now. I have tried everything .. Disconnected battery for an hour.. There are no water in the fuseboxes, have dismantled and dried (was no water in the beginning either but..) Ohm-ed all fuses and they are ok. Replaced nr. 36 anyway but did not help. Since this is in Norway it is a left hand drive. Will that mix up the numbers? My nr. 36 is power saving... Where is the timer module? Next to the R5 relay there is a B-something what is that. And where is the eart for this? Is it common? And the self-diagnostic dont work either. Any good ideas..

Hey mate, On mine the CTM central timing module is next to the drivers left knee, screwed on under the dashbpard. Small black box with a speaker grille (it has the door open chime inside it). Not sure where it will be on your LHD version, but should be there or thereabouts? Follow the chime! Al

This should be it. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/electrical/auxwarnsys/centraltimermo d.pdf There is also a test mode I believe you test it by holding in the button for the heated rear window whilst turning on the ignition (might need to keep button held in for several seconds). It will chime twice then sound for as long as each input is operated (e.g. the HRW switch).

| Another built in diagnostic mode I do wish someone would list all of these diagnostics in one place.

Thanks for all help, but I can`t even get the diagnostic to work. Found the timer module, it counts 20 sek. ok but nothing else. Called the Ford dealer and he too guessed it was the fusebox. The workshop had replaced a lot.... Wich box do you believe is the bad one? Hate to buy one and still have the problem bet I have ran out of things to check.
