i`am unable to store any new adjustments, there are 3 positions already stored but their for midgets, i`am unable too obtain a chime from the long memory button, therefore i`am unable too store any new positions.  Have fitted a new switch from Ford, made no difference.  Have tried "search"on the web site, but nothing comes up. I wondered if there was any quriks besides the instructions in the owners handbook, i would welcome any help & advise.

Hi just done this recently, to store the position settings you have to press the long button followed by the memory number you wish to store it in. you won't get the chime until you have pressed the number button and not after pressing the long button. Also if you press the unlock button on the remote immediately storing the setting you will get another chime and that will store the remote to that memory position and means reset itself to that position whenever you unlock the car with the remote.

Hope that makes sense.
