Picked up a P Ultima 2.9 24V yesterday, couple of questions, first the abs light goes out when ignition turns on as it should, but once I move it comes on, is this a fault or is it doubling as brake wear? (cant see a seperate brake wear light) traction control light comes on after initially going out, from what I have read this is correct but can the forum confirm? My handbook is in the post So far very pleased and fuel consumption coming from Harlow to Gloucester was very good about the same as when I used a Mk 3 granny to N Wales. Also how easy is it to obtain the remote fobs? only key I had was the black one with a red dot Many thanks in anticipation Bob

hi and welcome you worded your question slightly differently on g&s! are you saying.... both the abs AND the tc lights go out after the start up tests? then BOTH come back on as you move (without pushing the t/c button)? hth btw, the handbook in here.

Just an update, think I now understand the traction control i.e if light on system off, light off sytem working flashes when kicks in. This morning I tried the system out by starting up lights out and then reversed fast on packed snow (at work with plenty of safety margin) wheel spin then it kicked in an light flashed. SO I am assuming that it is a case of checking the connections under the seat and then down to the hubs. Also the seat bely light flickers and comes on during driving, any thoughts, seems like a connection problem.
