Earlier tonight changed the bulb in boot possibly shorted when I took the holder out, new bulb fitted, however i now have no interior lights, no dooor lights no puddle lights and worst of all as soon as i select any gear i have a loud permanent beeeeeeeeep, it is not fuse 24 which covers interior as it is ok and audio still works

check all fuses. the scorpio's wiring goes everywhere. hopefully you've not damaged the timer module. Sad

You could try to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. It can help reset everything. Don't forget radio codes and replace small black lead.

Have you checked fuse 36 (power saver) in the battery side fuse box ?

No not checked fuse 36 will try that and disconnect batt, is there an easy way to get fuse cover off? I tried a while ago and it would not budge. I gather you press in certain places to release it.

If it is not the fuse 36 and disconnecting batt does not reset, does the team think it is the timer module, if so were is it as I could lay my hands ona scrap one today that has most of the dash removed so easy access.

I am the owner of a car that no longer goes Beeeeeeeeep Grin  thanks so much guys ti was fuse 36, all working now although still no boot light and r/h tail in the boot lid, will let someoen else play with those.

Check the multiplug to the tail light. Might be that or the wires going through the hinge part as they are prone to failure.
