Battery Problems

Got back from holiday and car needed jump to start it. Never happened before. New Battery fitted but stlill going flat slowly. Power drain of 0.3 amps with ignition off. Pulled fuse 17 (electronics) and refitted drain drops to .06 amps untill door opened (any door) and drain returns to 0.3 amps. Pulled fuse 24 (interior lights & audio) drain drops to .06 amps refitted and returns to 0.3 amps drain immediately. No lights on and door switches checked, radio removed and no change in fault. Any ideas or futher checks I can do to narrow problem down.  Huh

what happens when you pull the power save fuse no 36?

Sounds like a replay sticking open/closed or even the alternator is drawing power. with the alternator you can disconect the plug on the back of it.

Pulled fuse 36 made no difference. Pulled relay 16 and it reset the load until door opened again and back to fault condition. Next to the alternator.

Alternator seems OK. Power drain is from Auxilary (battery side) power. So it seem to be going from auxillary through a relay of some type to the supply for the internal lights/audio fuse. Is the timer module a posablity. If so where is it and can it be checked?

No, checked all lights. Had new battery checked out, and have replaced alternator today, but not yet checked for power drain.
