hi anybody got any ideas, can not get my tacho to work , dial will flick round when i disconect the battery and ive changed the dial checked everything i can any help would be greatly app , thanks

I'm not sure what runs the tacho, i think the tacho on the diesel gets its feed from the alternator but not sure about the petrol engines. You've changed the tacho/instrument cluster already?

well with me not having a diesel car i wouldnt know what a tacho was unless your talking lorries, but now i see that he is on about the REV COUNTER.

| your 24v has the same tachometer (rev counter) as the diesel does. Lorries have a tachograph which is completely different and not normally fitted to the Scorpio
