cannot reset cc control

Help my climatic control will not reset I get a 58 in the passenger side Lcd and if I press the up down switch it goes to 50,press them both and two zeros appear for a few secs then it goes back to 58,
any one any ideas, cheers

you need to continue to hold the buttons until the l/h display starts to flash.

hi just checked your suggestion did not work still 58 but when I change it to 50 and press the lh button it flashes 00 then back to 58 , could not get the lh flashing

yes, 58 will come back on, but continue to hold the buttons until the display flashes (a/c & rec buttons).
