Changed my CD mag just now and the display on the main unit shows CD ERROR when it tries to load a CD. Went back to the CD changer unit and pressed the orange button - it makes all the right noises but doesn't pop the magazine out ! HELP !!!

You can pop it out manually - on the left hand side of the unit (nearest the bumper) just by the bracket, there is a small hole that if you push a nail in will eject the mag. I had this once and it turned out to be a cd still in the carrier, it came out on it's own after a day or two! Just leave the MAg out for a while! HTH Dave

There is a small panel on the left hand side of the boot, quarter turn of the screw and the panel will drop down and you will see the cd changer.

Sorted it this morning - now working OK. Couldn't find a small enough nail but a straightened paper clip did the job admirably to pop the manual release. I did have to partially remove the side trim and speaker to get to it though. Afraid I have to put my hands up and say I think this was entirely my fault - I only put 5 CD's in the mag, with nothing in slot 1 and I think the small white plastic part which tells the CD changer if there is or is not a CD present must have been in the wrong position - CD changer thinking there was a CD in slot 1 and trying to load it. Anyway, sorted now - won't be making that mistake again !
