Cannot get the rear suspension air compressor of my 95 cossie running. Fuse is OK Does anybody have a solution?

Thanks for the reply. I might have used the wrong name, so you are probably right. The rear shocks have an air bellow, the rear axle is connected to a switch controlling the height. Left front, behind the fender and directly under the headlamp is the compressor, which does not run. Is there any info on this compressor? Can it be fixed? Is there an electical diagram? Hen.

hi there no, you are correct. i've just never came across a scorpio with the 'older' system. this might help..... http://www.carsoft.ru/avtorepair/sierra/selfsusp.pdf not sure how it all works, but you might be able to feed 12 volts straight to the pump and see i it still works. hth

Disconnect the link connecting the rear axle to the switch and manually rotate the arm on it. Should start the compressor or open the release solenoid, depending on which way you rotate it. Also check the switch is getting power to it. Darren
