Smileyhello new member but long time owner ,i have just took on a 96 24v scorpio everything in good order but some electrical gremlins the following or not working ,wiper ,front light,indicators(but hazards work)brake lights all other electrics fine all fuses fine all relays fine power at aux fuse box seems to fluctuate between 12.5 and 6v on the multi meter ,question before i change main fuse box are  there any other areas to investigate ?i cannot vouch for fuse box ,cover was missing but seems dry,not had cossie one before do wiring looms cause proplems  no water in car... do the spanners alright but not clever on electrics ....also drivers side manifold blowing at exhaust seems straight forward a job any thing to look out for? all suggestions greatfully received .....Q what is it about scorpios that make you go back time after time i cannot leave them alone had 4 now  Cool Smiley

Indicators and brake lights use the same fuse, so fix one and the other will probably work too. Sounds like the fusebox is wet (as you suspected). I'm almost willing to bet money on the fusebox as main culprit  Smiley

Is the Multiplug for the fusebox located correctly?? it needs to hook under the lugs first before its pushed home.  
Give it a check it happens VERY REGULARLY Wink

Dude i checked that multiplug twice ....sprayed with wd 40 like you do ...but did not know about locating lugs ....you learn som thing new every day    Shocked anyway if you like me you will have no money Tongue
