Do they come on when you move off? around the 10-15mph mark?

Check here under braking concerns

Hi - thanks for the info - the only fault on the braking section is ABS light on all the time, but I also have traction control light and they both seem to come on at about 11 mph

sounds like a dodgy rear sensor, try cleaning the sensor face and the ring it reads from on the hubs.

Also check both the connections below the rear seat

Hi thanks Highlander for the info waited till sat to get to grips with this ABS problem by the time got organised the fault cleared it's self,   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked it must have been the drop off the Kerb that did it  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin. But if it happens again now know what to look for. Thanks again.

I think water or dirt can cause this, i've had it happen probably three times since i've owned Scorpios, the light will come on then clear the next time you restart the car.
Seems to happen more in the wet
