The climate control panel on my 1996 2.3 ultima seems to have stopped working when i go over bumps it might start blowing on high but pushing anywhere on the panel might stop it. Error code 2 is showing. Any suggestions from you good folks ?

I'm too lazy at the moment to check what code 2 is, but my uneducated guess would be a bad/loose connection behind the panel.

Code 2 is a 'dodgy' air distribution or blower switch. As Stuart says probably the ribbon cable connector. Details are HERE
