I think my drivers side CAT has failed (it is rattling very loudly) and this might be the time to replace both CATS and lambda sensors. Any recommendations as to where best to source - and get fitted - either the front end of the exhaust or the whole system? Either Ford OEM or a quality stainless system? I live in Chester, and I don't want to do the job myself. Thanks, Neil W.

If you have the money m8,go for a stainless system.that way you can have a choice of tailpipe designs & taylor the sound to your liking TBH when compared to a genuine ford system i doubt there will be much difference in price. As for exhaust fabricators in Chester ? ? Im afraid i,ve not a clue

if i look at prices here in netherland: midd section of the exhaust system under my 95 24v, 1400euros and thats only the mid section, wich contains the 2 silencers. for those 1400 euros i can build my own stainless, they are completly nuts here. i would say, better take the time and get yourself a stainless system, with metall kattalytic converters, and fit those thing under the car instead of at the manifold. groeten

Thanks Guys for your advice. I'm hoping to get away with just replacing the Cats and sensors and as the Cats lasted 9.5 years and 125,000 miles and I am already 67 myself then stainless steel would outlast me and the car . Regards, Neil W.
