alarm goes off when it rains

Hiya HELP lol when ever it been raining a lot my alarm goes off the displays stays on the dashbord with my keys out ? like the miles still stay there and my boot will not open so i cannot set the alarm or lock the car till it drys out a day after how do lock the car but not set the alarm ? or is there something i can do to stop or find where the rain is getting in ?

The rain is getting in the drivers side fusebox, Make sure it is fitted correctly or one of the lugs on the rear has broken off, Had this when I first had mine. HTH

I have posted this before, recently. But it does sound familiar. I had the exact same problem. The wires that run under the passengers side fuse box where they travel from the F/box through the bulkhead, had chaffed some how. This used to turn the lights on when it rained..flat battery etc. got progressively worse. Until one jump start too many started to melt the wiring. Definatley check that out. Because from the top of the fuse box all looked fine. Its only held in by 4 screws. If memory serves me.
