sometimes, mainly under load or acceleration, when changing into the final gear (auto box) the car thuds into gear. alos it will drop out of overdrive i.e change down IF you are accelerating , as soon as you go light on the gas it clicks back in to overdrive. its as though whenever under load it drops out. only happens 1 in 5 journeys. changed MAf for second hand one, no difference. unless that maf was duff as well! DISCONNECTED maf no difference gearbox man said something to do with too much pressure in the box? im not sure just wondered if anyone has had this fault themselves 2.9 cossie auto 150K miles
