Alarm and jumpstart

Hi, I have a 24v thats been sitting in a lockup for well over six months, battery flat, need to jumpstart it to get it out but when I put the jumpleads on it sets the alarm off, any ideas? Thanks.

When the alarm goes off you need to use the key in the door to lock then unlock the car, I think it will be alright then, the pats system should reset itiself, my old car did and it was ok after the engine was running cos the battery was being charged up.... hth Pete

Its best to use a battery charger to charge the battery as the alternator will give it up to 60amps ish and could/will bug--- the battery!.

Thanks Gentlemen, that did the trick. Had to jump it, no power in the lockup.
