Slight fuel tank leak

Hey all there is a tiny hole where the fuel filler hose connects to the fuel tank (hoel is on the fuel tank) so when I fill the tank up to full, it leaks a little. Workaround atm is just to fill it to 3/4 for now. Is there any sealant/liquid metal that i could safely repair the hole with? Donesn't really seem worth replacing the tank for a minor hole at the top (unless someones suggests it's dangerous that is!).

You can get some expoxy putty for doing repairs like this - comes in a pack, 2 strips of compound - tear off a bit a mix it up by rolling / kneeding in your hand and apply to the hole - make sure you have cleaned the area first or it won't stick properly. On my old Granada Scorpio estate some little s*d stuck a screwdriver in my tank - and this is how I fixed it - never leaked at all in over 3 yrs.
