Hi, Did it work before? I had this when I got my car, but it was due to some numpty removing the CD changer, realising it said no changer, and cutting one of the wires at the back of the radio. As the stalk is part of this wiring, it also didnt work. I cured by re-attaching the wire with a new connector. If yours was working before, I can only assume the wire didnt like the battery change, and burnt out !?! Hope this helps,

I had this happen to me a couple of times - and I hadn't done anything to the car ! Take the magazine out of the CD changer and put it back in - if that doesn't work try using a CD lens cleaning disc. Also check for CD's which have been put in the wrong way round and make sure there are 6 discs in the magazine - for some reason mine does not like empty slots and gives a CD ERROR.
