Well at last my loss of gears has been sorted (more or less) after Highlander and I discussed it we came to the conclusion it was the linkage pivot on the side of the gear box. I know that other people had said check linkage and this was the first thing I did, BUT what I missed was the fact that there are two link bars. The bottom of the pivot arm had snapped allowing the linkage to pop out leaving the box in N. So all I need is the pivot arm/bracket from the side of the box, good weather and I am on the road again. So if you have one let me know so I can make an offer.

there will be one on my scrapper cossie, in Bridgnorth (not too far from you). if you go and take it off (im in edinburgh), it will cost you a bottle of wine for my folks (who have to put up with having it on their drive !). any other bits you take will be subject to haggling with my mum, so beware, shes from aberdeen cheers,
