Morning gentlefolks i dont suppose anyone would know if a towbar fitted to ascorpio estate would fit the saloon of the same year would they many thanks.Also the vehicle dismantlers at thetford have a scorpio estate in 24v estate lots of bits on it phone number is 01638-750413 to speak to him seems to be a nice enough chap

No it wont Angus.
They have different components. There was a thread on here not long ago which was also discussing the differences between the saloon towbars for different year cars because most use a fixing near the diff mounting and these are different on newer cars than they are on the earlier ones!

Yes it will fit!
i bought a towbar from a 1995 saloon and fitted it to my 1996 estate and it fit exactly as i removed it all the bolt holes lined up and everything so it should work the other way around
