Hi all just come back from holiday and the car has a leak somwhere it has lost a gallon of oil and its all over the bottom of the car and every time i park up anywhere it drip's like mad? Now it seems only to be comming from the left hand side front above the alternator and power steering pump as i can clean these up and after a short drive they are covered again but i can't seem to see where its from (its not the rocker cover's as i replaced the gaskets myself). Any help would be great please. P.S when starting it rattles for a couple of seconds (dont know if that has anything to do with it??) Mark

Thanks Matt. Yes it is that that's leaking now how do i replace the gasket I have been on this for 3 hours and removed the tensioner but the room is none existent to get it back on. I have tried some instant gasket but it still leaks. Is there an easier way of doing this and somehow to get more room to clean the face on the head? Mark

they do need the proper gasket as the oil pressure is to much for instant gasket and it does not work, you could try and make them from gasket card.did you reset the tensioner before fitting it back?
