hi all, i have an alarm on the car which is not factory fitted, you have to wave a immobilisor fob over an led light to start car, and i want to cut the wire/wires to the siren to stop it going off as it is a nightmare. is it as easy a cutting a wire or will that render the system in operative and not enable to start the car . any ideas at all??. thanks..

And if it does; change the siren for a 12V bulb; it won't awake you (or the neighbours!) at night. Auke

Chances are the live feed to your alarm will be fused somewhere along the line.Wouldnt it be easier just to pull the fuse ?
