Water in the car

The passenger floor in my car is totally soaked with water:-/ I have no clue where the water comes from, it's only the floor that's wet. I did replace the battery yesterday and its been raining all day over here. I don't have the battery cover, could this be the problem?

| This is almost certainly the problem...and your fuse box could most likely now be used to keep fish in

The water is most likely to be getting in through the large grommet/sleeve which carries the loom from the fusebox into the car entering behind the glovebox. This is a potential for disaster so you need to get it sorted and dried out ASAP. The main ecu is behind the glovebox. Remove the glovebox and get in behind there pronto.

Thanks, I just saved the electronics, only the ecu plug was a little wet. I'm feeling lucky today

Check ALL the drain points are clear of debris.. There is a large one by the battery on the bulk head.

Found a battery cover, cleared ALL the drain points One A/C drain pipe was completely clogged. Fuse boxes are still dry on the inside. The only weird thing that happened was that the car wouldn't start after I connected the battery, only when I pushed the gas pedal completely down. I had to keep it running with the gas pedal. About an hour later, it started, runs perfectly ever since
