2.5 TD belt tensioners

HI, I've got a '95 TD non a/c.
I've ordered a belt tensioner form a scrappy, but forgot to ask if the 2nd hand unit is from an a/c car or not. My question is, does it make any difference ? Are the tensioners used with an a/c car different from non a/c cars?. Any advice welcome. Cheers.

i think the tensioners are the same, cant really think of a reason why they wouldnt be..........the length of the tensioner might be needed to be set differently but i cant think of anything else...
