HELP - ABS Module break pipe order lost!

Hi guys/gals! i've been sorting out a persistanta ABS problem which have have lead me to convert my whole brake pipe system and ABS module. That's a long, long story let's not get into it anymore. The problem is that now I have a new 97+ ABS module in place, but I do not have a glue which brake pipe should go into which junction in the ABS module. There are five pipes, two for the front wheels, one for the rear system and then there's two to go to the main cylinder. I'm in Finland so it's LHD car. 2.3 DOHC without TCS. To make things "easier" I have numbered the pipes in the picture: http://www.frogrider.net/images/abs-module.jpg Oh, please help to get this one sorted, please, please and please!

Too wet for me to crawl under the car at the moment, but I can see the pipe from the end of the master cylinder goes to no 5 so presumably the other master goes to no 1 (as these are different size fittings). I’ll try and look later if no one else answers. Dave

| Only 5 wrong ways then I was greeted by thunder & rain when I went out with a lead light to have a look. I can't follow them from above so I'll try and look underneath later in the week when I'm working on the car.

Probably Nearside Front According to google Quote: Nearside the side of a vehicle nearest the kerb |
| So unless my brain is failing again, that should be the left side.

Well I couldn’t be sure of the pipes as they disappear behind a mounting plate for the electrics, they reappear under the servo & I can’t see them & it’s very difficult to feel what goes where. Thinking about it my guess about the different size fittings was wrong, the pistons are opposed to the same eccentric on the pump so it makes sense that 2 & 5 are from the master & that the front ones would be the pair next to a master & the rear the single next to a master. I’ve been meaning to change the brake fluid, so I thought I’d try leaving it somewhere hot overnight & see if I could detect the warmth in the pipes as I flushed each wheel. Unfortunately I’ve come up with a difference to gozz for the left front (but it was difficult to detect the warmth in the pipe so I may be wrong). 2 master near bulkhead 1 front right 3 front left 5 end of master 4 rear Best of luck, give yourself plenty of space to test it
